Company: All Clear Diagnostics & Calibration is a leading provider of diagnostic solutions and services to the collision repair industry.
Description of role:
Though the description for this job is very similar to that of our standard automotive technicians, what sets it apart is that this role is 100% travel. Depending on the company’s needs, this technician can be placed in a select city for a few days or a few months. A standard assignment includes one week at home per quarter. The company covers hotel costs and pays the GSA per diem meal rate throughout the traveling assignment.
In this role, the technician will provide a wide range of services including, but not limited to:
Pre- and post-collision diagnostic scans, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, OEM software programming, and mechanical services related to the collision industry.
Preferred Experience:
Diagnostics – 2+ years
Electrical – 2+ years
Mechanics – 2+ years
OEM Software – 1+ year
Troubleshooting / Software Programming – 1+ year
Tasks:
· Perform pre- and post-repair scans. Once completed, provide scans to customers to discuss potential necessary repairs.
· Perform applicable diagnostics, calibrations, and programming on various automotive electronic systems to ensure manufacturers’ standards are maintained.
· Create invoices and submit documentation for the services performed.
Skills and requirements:
· Possess automotive electrical and mechanical competencies.
· A professional attitude, the ability to provide quality customer service, and the ability to maintain a neat work environment.
· ASE and I-CAR certifications are desired but not mandatory
· Company-provided training is offered through I-Car, and the opportunity to obtain ASE and OEM certifications is provided, always ensuring our technicians remain current on new technology and industry standards.
Work schedule and Salary
· Monday – Friday: 8 A.M. – 6 P.M. (can fluctuate depending on need)
· Salary is based on experience and skill level.
